Our Story

MyType Medical Group is Arizona’s only specialty clinic dedicated exclusively to Type-1 Diabetes care. It was created from both professional expertise and personal experience. As a Nurse Practitioner and Board-Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals manage diabetes.

As a mother of a daughter with Type-1 Diabetes, I’ve also experienced the day-to-day challenges that come with this diagnosis. It isn’t easy, and that inspired me to create something more comprehensive.

My goal is to provide expert medical care to individuals living with Type-1 Diabetes while also offering educational training and support for caregivers, school nurses, and healthcare professionals.
